Our story
An old warehouse, a family home.
Corte dei Limoni occupies the ground and first floors of a 19th-century palazzo right in the historic centre of Acireale. When we restored it, we chose to keep what was already there: the lava-stone arches, the proportions of the old warehouse, the courtyard that now smells of orange blossom and jasmine. The restoration was carried out by Masterbuild, a local building company specialising in the restoration of historic properties in Acireale.

Who we are
Elena and Giuseppe, in the courtyard every morning.
We don't run a chain, we run our home. Corte dei Limoni has 5 rooms and is run directly by us: we're the ones who welcome you, who tell you where to eat in town, who make your breakfast with homemade jams under the lemon, orange and mandarin trees in the courtyard.
It's why most of our guests write to say they felt "at home" — it's what we're proudest of.

The courtyard
Lemons, oranges, mandarins, wisteria, jasmine.
The courtyard is the heart of the house: a dining area also set up for barbecues, in the shade of the citrus trees. This is where breakfast happens every morning, where guests stop to chat with us in the evening.
