The B&B

An old warehouse, lava-stone arches, the scent of orange blossom.

Corte dei Limoni was born from the restoration of a 19th-century palazzo in the heart of Acireale. We kept the original lava-stone arches and opened the rooms onto a small courtyard where century-old lemon, orange and mandarin trees grow alongside wisteria, jasmine and two beautiful frangipani — the very place where we serve breakfast every morning, with homemade jams and local produce.

The rooms

5 rooms in total — 1 Deluxe and 4 Superior, double, triple and family rooms — all with private bathroom, air conditioning, Wi-Fi, TV and a tea and coffee set in every room, and a minibar.

The location

In the historic centre, a minute's walk from the Cathedral and the Basilica of San Sebastiano — yet the rooms, overlooking the inner courtyard, stay quiet and peaceful. The sea at Santa Maria La Scala is just 850 metres away, easily reached on foot.

Who we are

Elena and Giuseppe, and a house that stays open.

Corte dei Limoni is run directly by Elena and Giuseppe. You won't find a reception desk: you'll find two people who actually live here, who'll tell you where to find the best granita, the best arancini, how to get up Etna, and who are in the courtyard every morning for a chat over breakfast.
